I had A/C the 12 treatments of Taxol. The neuropathy started about the 7th dose. I stuck it through, as my oncologist felt it was the best treatment (assisted by finding a lump under my right arm, which mercifully was benign and quite unrelated, but it did make me think hard about stopping!). The neuropathy in my fingers is almost gone and causes no problems but after 3 and a half years I still have odd sensations (no pain) in my feet. It is still slowly improving. I'd always caution advice before stopping, but neuropathy can be serious and may take a long time to recover. No regrets (I got through A/C and Taxol with no nausea or fatigue) and the other Taxol side effects (loss of taste buds and bloody nose) stopped when the treatment did. Good luck to everyone going through it!
