A we have said many times one here, unless you have gone through the journey, you dont quite understand, i think we are from an age, where you are ill, you keep plodding on, and you get over it... all good normally, but we all on here know bc is a different case from any illness we have had in the past, yes some of us are lucky enough to finish treatment, but like chemo brain, and the psychological side of this, and not to mention the fear of it returning we are still living with it. i know when i was first diagnosed my first question was AM i going to Die. and i think we have all thought the same at some point during our journey, did you give your friend the leaflet from the bcna my journey kit? if so, next time she tries to make you feel guilty, ask her if she has read it, and also mention she could maybe do some research on helping and understanding the emotions you have to put up with at the moment. friendship work 2 ways. My niece from scotland posted this on my wall on facebook so thought i would share it. APT!!!!
Friends are like knickers....Some crawl up your arse.. Some snap under pressure......Some don't have the strength to hold you up..Some get a little sideways.. Some are your favorite.. Some are holey..Some are cheap and just plain nasty.. And some actually do cover your arse when u need them to...!! Send this to all your best knickers :)
Keep thinking of yourself, and let your friend know this is the new you. take Care Moira
