Side effects of taxol
Hi, I'm currently about to do my 10th weekly taxol treatment (only 3 treatments left) have had numbness /tingling in fingers from 2nd treatment but each treatment the tingling has gotten slightly wors...

The tingling is peripheral neuropathy, there is not a lot that can help it for certain, even if you were to stop taking Taxol now which I don't recommend, but your oncologist is the one to talk to. Mine was prepared to drop the last treatment if I really wanted to, but for a number of reasons I did all 12. At the back of my mind, I didn't want to ever be wondering if not finishing resulted in a recurrence. Once is not good, twice doesn't really bear thinking about!!
Ice water may help your fingernails. This too is a common Taxol side effect, my toenails went black, brown, grey and chalk white but I didn't lose any and it started growing out as soon as I stopped the Taxol treatment. The nose is a real nuisance, you can get nose oil from the chemist and it does help (it's just refined sesame oil!).
Deep breaths, you are nearly through.
