Radiation Burns - Wet or Dry?

I completed radiation therapy in March and the skin broke in my armpit and under the breast - it was weeping, raw and verrrry painful.  See your radiation nurse - I did and she showed me what to do and that was to keep it wet with solugel and some special dressing.  Sorry to say this, but it gets worse until about 10-14 days after treatment finishes and then it gets better.  Hang in there.  It’s been two months since I’ve finished radiation therapy and I had forgotten about the negative side effects (I guess my surgery helped push all that aside)!
