I realised this morning why my bras were hurting so much. Sometime in the last 24 hours, since yesterday's shower, my radiation burns have come out. Redness over the mastectomy site and very red and sore looking (and feeling) on my side under the arm. I was told that I could notice things up to 3 weeks after but I must admit that I thought it would show up earlier than this - it's been nearly 2 weeks since my last treatment.
