Paclitaxol and neuropathy - decision to stop

Hi @ScotinAus. I had to stop in week 8 of the Taxol. I am not sorry i did. I still to this day have the residual numbness in my hands and feet 7+ years on. I hate to think what it would have been like if I stayed the course to the end. I cant stand for long or walk long distanced due to the pain. All the other areas of concern returned pretty much to normal.
To me it was a matter of quality of life and what I could put up with.
It’s a hard decision to make thats for sure and one only you can make under the best recommendation from your treating team
