Going well at this stage. Gut is finally beginning to settle, combination of the diet and me not worrying I think !

Better days definitely. Although I did learn that I have 18 Herceptins not 17 so I STILL have 4 to go but it's easy so I'm not fussed.

so glad to hear the tests were clear. The waiting can be scary! I am on a probiotic from Japan that is helping me. Its called Threelac. You might like to google it and see if its something you want to try.

Hi MM, Good to hear that you didn't wait. I hope the Inner Health works as there is nothing worse than that upset stomach, nausea or sitting on the loo continuous cycle. I tried herbal remedies that were very effective for me but they are not for everyone. I think chemo, radiation and any other therapies we have for BC knocks our poor bodies around and even months after treatment they let us know it ! It been 12 months since my surgery, I finished chemo in April and radiotherapy in August and while most of the time I feel more like my old self and well there are times I'm reminded I'm still recovering! Continued good health to you and remember to go gently!

Onc says it is bound to be just residual from chemo, unlikely that radiation is bothering my gut, and prob not Arimidex.

She advises trying Inner Health plus to re-establish gut bacteria as this may be all out of whack. Sounds sensible and have started.

I agree Anna-Marie, I want to be normal again immediately !

I will email my onc, she may have some ideas.

It's just good to know I'm not imagining this, and that it may indeed be a reaction to the radiation OR the Arimidex or both.

I love this site, always a help.

I have had nausea and loss of appetite since chemo. I finished chemo in May and Radiation in July.I think the Tamoxifen is contributing now. I still have some anti nausea tabs from chemo and take one one every few days as needed. Talk to someone on your care team for advice. As our bodies can all react so differently to treatments. I also have a daily herbal mix to keep my bowels moving.

Yay for finishing chemo. Its a tough part of the treatment journey. Every time I see a specialist they all say don't undersestimate how much this has hit your body and expect slow recovery. Hard to be patient as I want to return to normal routine and better health. My occ therapist said slow and steady wins the race. So its ok to be the tortoise and not the hare!!

Hi, DON'T wait till February. The oncologist is there to help. They would prefer you to be as comfortable as possibe! I had an upset tummy during both chemo and radio but got treatment that helped. Good luck!

Hi there, I had stomach issues , mine started half way through chemo and then got so bad during radiation it was awful I never vomited once during chemo but throughout radiation I couldn't stomach anything. The radiation cause me to have gastro paresis which is a prob with digestion of food in other words it's too slow and sits and ots in your stomach . Go see a gastroenterolist Cheers Sen
