Numbness and tingling
hey out there does anyone have any insight or experience in how long the numbness and tingling might last. It's more annoying than anything but curious, of all the various side effects this one seems to be hanging in there.

- Thanks Afraser will check it out. They stopped my taxol treatment and I'm booked for surgery
- Peripheral neuropathy - damage to nerve endings most commonly associated with Taxol. Can be a nuisance and can get a bit worse than that. If you are still having treatment ask your oncology staff about how to minimise it. Soaking fingers (big messier for feet) in iced water helps some, Vitamin B helped mine a bit. If you have finished treatment, the time it takes to improve is very variable. See the thread on neuropathy for more advice. Good luck.
