@pinkclovers The science behind it is that the antihistamines reduce bone oedema. There have been studies done in the UK, but they were inconclusive. It's a $1 a day solution that is out of patent to a problem that not everyone experiences so it's not going to be very high on the list of research priorities.
I didnt have flue symptoms so much as bone pain. The first time i had that shot was my last round of chemo in 2006. ( I spent two days lying on the floor unable to bear the weight of a blanket) When my cancer came back I did a bit of research after a disastrous first round of chemo and started taking it. It helped. Mxx
