Need suggestions for instant relief from cording

I have had only one bout of cellulitis in nearly seven years of lymphoedema - the likely culprit was a manicure! And quite possibly no fault of the salon, just increased risk of a vulnerable arm to the bugs everywhere around us. I didn’t twig what had caused the redness for 24 hours. Mercifully my immune system is still working and it had abated by the time I woke up and got to the doctor. High temperatures are easy to miss too. Just don’t dismiss red skin if you are susceptible.
