Nails lifting

Hi Prudencerose, I'm 2 years post chemo, surgery & radiation.  My nails lifted off the nail bed and were numb too.  I spoke to my nail girls and did take that product Hair Skin & Nails, not that it really did any good. I just let my nails go, kept them very short and eventually when the new nail grew through they were find.  The neuropathy in your fingers is a result of the chemo, but that too will dissipate in due course.  I also had the nails of my 2 big toes go funny, and they took about 12 months to grow out - I just let my Podiatrist look after them.  Most good nail technicians would be able to help - I'd suggest not going to those salons that appear in the big shopping centres with like 10 girls doing nails - try your local beauty salon where you would get to be treated by the same girl or girls each time.
