Nail Damage from AC Chemo?

Have just finished 3 months of AC and nail on small toe has just lifted off. Took nail varnish off and both big toe nails are half black. Am on Paclitaxel next and this is listed as a side...
Six weeks post Docetaxel and Cyclophosphamide and most all of my finger and toenails are half white. Any leverage whatsoever makes the white extend further. They are becoming flexible but still very much held on down the base. Doc said just keep them clean and short and it might take months for the nail beds to recover. Not something I was expecting. Only two things I coveted was my lovey hair and nails and now it looks like I won't have either for 6mths to a year. Not feeling especially sexy atm.
