My wig itches

Question

Hi all,
Lately I've had trouble with my head itching everytime&nbsp;I wear a wig. Sometimes&nbsp;I scratch and it bleeds.
Anyone have this problem and what do you do to stop it.
I&nbsp;hate going out without my wig.

I had the same trouble.I used a soft stretchy cotton cap underneath which I think I got from www.headcovers.com in USA. My chemist gave me some sort of anti histamine tablet when my scalp was really bad.Most of the time I washed it in cetaphil wash and rubbed in vit e cream.

I wear a cap that's made from pantyhose material under my wig. My scalp doesn't itch that often but when it does I wash my scalp with Hamilton skin active urederm cleanser. (Its a big green and white bottle) I find this to be quite soothing.

Hey Terry
I am with the other ladies. &nbsp;I had a t shirt ribbing type cap and also a stocking type cap as well which were great but you know what was even better was a lovely cool wet one type cloth which soothed the scalp and went on before the cap before the wig.
Good luck and hope your delivery arrives soon but in the meantime get on to an unperfumed hand or face wipe to place on your scalp first, two if you need them and just overlap them.
