It can take a while melbgirl74 for your armpit to 'feel normal' again.
I didn't notice the 'sticky' bit - but the nerves have been totally disrupted, specially with the node removal (which is often higher up in the armpit area) & it can take some months for them to 'settle down', post op!
I also found that my body odour increased on the 'surgery side' compared to the other side too.

Take care. I think I still have a strange odour on the surgery side and definitely the wierd and painful sensations in my armpit were really awful. Thankfully this has subsided but the armpit and upper arm feel very strange so there is nerve disruption.
