Lymphoedema and insect bites
All the information I can find about lymphoedema says to avoid insect bites, which is good advice - until you have been bitten. I don't have lymphoedema but had 4 lymph nodes removed with my surger...
Hi Harley, I had 12 nodes removed on my left but haven't been bitten as far as I know although we had a mozzie in our room this week but it filled up on my husband. I did scratch myself on a rose thorn though high up on that arm but didn't react & was stung on my toe by a bee on that side. We are always going to worry but have to live life at the same time. At least you know how to treat it now and have your drugs handy, may be even carry in your bag when out. Also your GP might have some other options!
