My Lymphodema specialist physio has been using the laser on a hard area of seroma with some success. It is greatly reduced in size over a couple of months. She recommends the use of compression sleeve for a couple of hours a day to reduce the chance of Lymphodema developing in my arm. She also regularly measures the arm to check for early signs of a problem developing. I have had some increase in the fingers due to fluid retention, a side effect of some chemo drugs.
Massage, exercise and drinking plenty of water are also important. Only wear the sleeve when you are active, walking is ideal.
Hope this helps.
