Losing my Eyebrows
Hi, I finished Chemo on 28 Feb this year (2 months) and I just noticed that Imlosing my eyebrows !!
I thought I would have lost them by now, so it's a bit of a surprise. Funnily enough it's bothering me more than losing my hair.....
Has anyone else lost their eyebrows at around the 2 month post Chemo mark?

- My eye brows never totally went but they did thin a lot. Wunderbrow was very good. Not the gel one but the pencil and fibre filler. If you want something a bit more budget friendly Woolies sell Morebrows which is quite good as well and a third of the price. My eyelashes mostly stayed through chemo but went about 4 weeks after to my surprise. They did it twice about 2 months apart. I just stuck false ones one.
- Losing my eyelashes was the worst part for me the hair didn't bother me . I don't wear makeup so didn't hide the fact they were gone they took the longest to come back as well
- Hi@Janny54 could you share the name of the product please? My eyelashes are disappearing by the day and looking like an ‘alien’ is not the fashion statement I am attempting to make!! Thanks.
- When I was loosing my eyebrows and eyelashes I read on a post on here I can't remember who posted it about using eyeliner to make it look like you have eyelashes. So I got one and it worked. My eyebrows have always been light so that didn't bother me as much.

Ali McGraw @jennyss she was rather gorgeous (as we all were in the 60’s) - Dear @JasiB1, I noticed about one month after chemo that my eyebrows were thinning; but I was quite happy about it as my eyebrows were like hairy mad caterpillars! Yes I could have had them shaped , but never did. Back in the 60's kind people said I looked like Ali McGraw - wish!
- Good luck @JasiB1, you are so right!! I was in the mirror this morning trying to put mascara on my thinning eyelashes thinking exactly the same thing !! X
- Thanks @kmakm and @RachelG. Wish I’d done that. I’ll see what I can do tomorrow (if Ive got any left) otherwise the eyebrow pencil will be working overtime. :)
Got to laugh otherwise I’d cry :) - Hi @JasiB1 and @kmakm. I too was bothered by thinning brows though not from chemo. Luckily Brows are big news in the makeup world and are great products out there to provide a temporary fix and major morale booster.I use Modelco More Brows a product I found in Woolies around $14.Is a gel and works a treat giving a natural look unlike eyebrow pencils of yore.
