Hi Shelli heat packs are a godsend for my sore back and plenty of rest. I also use a pick up stick/grabber that was given to me by the OT in rehab that I use for picking up things when I can't bend down. I've had tumours in my spine and find I can't exercise anymore or walk like I used to. I take osteo panadol and endome when the pain is really bad. I don't have any symptoms from my liver tumours yet but Only from my back and that's been the case from when I was diagnosed in Oct 2012. I woke up one day after a few weeks of niggling back pain and it was so excruciating I couldn't get out of bed. The tumours were hitting on nerves and that was causing the painful spasms. Radiation and Abraxane shrunk the tumours in the spine but I'm left with curvature of the spine and back pain that doesn't go away. I think the drugs I'm on also contribute to the stiffness in my back and joint pain. Worst thing is getting out of bed in the morning and best thing is getting into bed at night and resting my weary bones!!!
