Last ac cancelled
What a journey so far !!!! I have had 3 ac and I am so terribly sick. Just about passed out in oncologist's surgery, he is quite worried about me. my body cannot handle any more of this ac so hoping ...
Thank you for that, appreciate your feedback xxAfraser said:You’ve had a miserable time, so fingers crossed that paclitaxol is easier. Most people find it is. I was the odd one who had the reverse, almost no side effects (except hair loss) with A/C and more with Taxol, but while it’s unusual it’s presumably not unheard of. Even the best oncologists can’t know for certain what your reaction will be until you try, and you know you have the benefit of the treatment to date. With the best will in the world (your recovery!) most oncologists will try and keep going for as long as possible, so a judicious amount of overkill is built in to the regimen. You have the knowledge that you have done as much as you can. No-one can ask for or expect more. Give yourself a pat on the back for sticking with it as long as you have. Best wishes.
