Wow well that is an interesting history. It will be interesting to see if your sister has the gene. I have often wondered if I have it which is why I am waiting for a genetics appointment. I am pretty sure I won't qualify for testing though as no family history. Did you have to pay for yours or was it covered?
My first diagnosis I had a reaction to taxotere so was treated with FEC. 2nd time I neede the taxotere and so was given lots of antihistamines with it. It wasn't pleasant doing chemo twice in 18mths. I did get through it though as you will also. I hope your counts remain good.
Make sure you hydrate yourself for a full 24hours before chemo, over the whole day not just in one hit before your chemo. Your veins will be much easier for them to find. Rug up also as they are easier to find if you are warm.
