Hi @Abbydog,
I'm slightly less than 1 year out from active treatment. On aromasin. I gained 4 kg during chemo (i was already a bit overweight with a tummy). I started going to an exercise physiologist during chemo and weight has remained stubborn (probably i could get a tiny bit lower if i gave up chocolate - no ) but ive gained muscle. My stomach fat seems like its reduced a bit and i can actually see flabby skin where the fat was and my waist is about 3 cm smaller. I think you might be able to shift it but it probably takes a lot of consistency and time. Im still working towards it. What i have noticed is i look less flabby in my limbs, my face is thinner, and im fitter. I try to focus on the positives like energy levels, mental health and feeling well. I saw a dietician but there wasnt much wrong with my diet. Perhaps portion sizes i dunno. I dont want to deprive myself and eat for nutrition now plus occassional treat.
Hope that helps. Nit impossible in my view just long term.
Michele
