I was brave today!
I thought you lovely ladies might understand and appreciate this. Today I bravely (not really) ventured out for the first time since my hair started growing back without wearing my turban. I didn’t think I had a particularly attractive head when I had hair so I was just never game enough to leave the house without covering it up when my hair fell out. My hair is still very short and quite grey but it felt great to style it (just comb it to the side) and walk around the shops like a normal person with some hair like everyone else again. It’s funny the things I get excited about along this journey!

- Just a quick update- I know the query about dyeing hair after chemo often comes up. I didn’t like my new grey hair much but I was nervous about putting a colour in it as I read somewhere that you need to wait six months. I’d heard it could turn interesting colours! I decided to get a semi permanent colour put in last week and it turned out fine. This is 3 months after chemo. Just sharing for anyone who might be wondering how a colour might turn out.

- I had my last chemo 12 weeks ago @duxx1234. It grew very very slowly at first but in the seventh week it suddenly took off. A breastcare nurse told me that was often the way.
It was very soft & fluffy when it first came through. I think what's coming through now is a bit stiffer as it feels quite springy now. I wish it would curl! - What a beautiful photo of you all.
These photos are also a study in how quickly children change. Your younger boy has changed from very much still a baby/ toddler into a little boy in that 13 weeks - @Fionap2017
I can 'hear' your smile and pride thru your words. Gorgeous Lovely boys! xxxx - This was taken at the end of chemo when I had very little hair, eyebrows or lashes. Both my boys in this pic. They are certainly a great reason to fight and they brighten up my not so great days.
