How tired is tired

Just a quick question.
I had breast cancer in my left breast, have now had both removed, some precautionary chemo. I was so tired before any of it let alone how tired I am now.

I was also very tired for about six months before my cancer was diagnosed. I was so tired I put off my regular mammogram for some months and nearly didn't bother doing it! How ironic. Since chemo and radiation have finished I am now on tamoxifen. I am still very tired. I have been told the tiredness can last 12 to 18 months. Everyone expects me to bounce back straight away but I haven't. Best wishes Karen
