I have finished my chemo now thank goodness!! I used a good strong black nailpolish and it saved my nails. I have had pain in my finger tips and toes but it is gradually easing. My chemo knocked me around terribly - for about ten days after each dose. It was very frustrating as I hate laying around doing nothing, but that was all I could do! Now that I am finished chemo I am incredibly weak and tired. My muscles just don't want to work and I get puffed out just walking to the letterbox!! I know it will get better (so everyone tells me) but at the moment it is an awful feeling!
You will get through it, as we all do, so stay positive and focus on the end.
