Anyone here experience changes in their heart since treatment? I get an erratic pulse, dizzy, sweats, and feel like my hearts going to fly out of my chest sometimes! I know a lady who has heart problems now from chemo. Im gettng it seen to today. My lung thing went, no known cause as to what that was about.
Hi Gayle, always best to get these "funny" things checked out. Chemo does some strange things to us. Sure it kills off the bc suckers but it also changes our "bits". Since chemo my body cannot tolerate any gluten at all. I used to watch my gluten intake and could cheat sometimes NOT now. Strictly NO GLUTEN. It is understandable that things might change and it also takes time for the repairable things to get back to order. Hope it all goes well when you have it checked. Thinking of you XLeonie

I do remember following my chemo and before and at the start of Rads I had major heart pulpitations, shortness of breath with hyperventilating. No strength or energy etc. and I had the fear it was my heart but it was just good old chemo doing its stuff. It did pass.
From memory it is a while since chemo for you??? Am I right there. I would be getting it checked out thoroughly though as they do say that some chemo can affect the heart and that is why we have the heart gait testing throughout and following our chemo.
I will keep everything crossed it is nothing to be concerned about luvy. Please let us know how you go.
