i got trigger thumb in my tight thumb after about 6 months on Letrazole.
I saw a hand surgeon and he said he could operate but that a cortisone injection might make it settle down.
I had the cortisone injection and also had a few sessions with a hand physiotherapist and it settled down quite a bit.I found the hand brace made no difference to me but it helps some - worth trying.
Trigger thumb and trigger finger are recognised side effects of the AIs ( including Letrazole).
Changing to a different AI sometimes works too.
I have heard that some oncologists poo poo this side effect so if you think you are not getting empathy maybe get a second opinion.
