Definitely @Locksley - but mine was my middle & ring fingers for the 'trigger' back when I was on Letrozole (I had to use my other hand to 'straighten it' when it locked in the bent position) ...... but my thumbs were immensely painful, tho I'd had that 5 years earlier too, from my arthritis - the AI meds just made it worse ....
I did get a thumb brace from the Chemist that has a bit of metal along the thumb to prevent it bending & hurting. After a couple months of wearing that, it settled down. It comes & goes and currently I am not in pain or discomfort.
I DID have some pain 2 weeks ago from (possibly) too much fishing & I rubbed some CBD balm on it (that had ginger & capsicum in it) and that settled it down by the time I went to bed!
Take care & all the best .... maybe some ibuprofen or similar (with meals) would help too?
