I did physiotherapy (ultrasound and physio recommended stretching exercises ) for 6 weeks which helped a little.Physio directed use of Voltaren gel but only able to use 2 weeks continuously as I think contained aspirin.Voltaren did help with pain relief but get stronger one from Chemist not supermarket.
What turned the corner for me was COLD packs applied frequently during the day (eg packets of frozen peas ) for a while then easing off as inhibits healing.I liked Dencorub arthritis ice therapy at night or when bad during the day and a simple tubular elastic support bandage provided by physio available cheaply from the Chemist was just enough support.I did buy a special support product from physio but worried was too tight and on the radiated side so feared lymphodema . Tbh I didn’t like it as was uncomfortable.
I ‘ve had tennis elbow since January - it’s about 70% better as I can open the front door , cut vegetables etc .I gather the answer is time and a rather long time.
Whilst I am getting older it is interesting the soft tissue issues I have had this year .
