As long as you do stretches before and after and wear supportive footware. If it does get worse you may need to stop until investigated. Alternatives. ..bike riding...water exercise or even a rowing machine short term (although the foot can still hurt with these) and again stretches before and after. My last episode was incredibly painful and I just walked in the pool. (I recall not being able to weight bear at all until I bought an orthotic shoe....the worse episode with quickest recovery due to finding out about the stretches, previous ones had played up for years)
