WIth my first chemo E/C I had green tea with ginger, apple cider vinegar with honey, arrowroot biscuits all the time, these seemed to keep the nausea at bay. Plus I made sure I ate something small every 2 hours (as recommended by the chemo nurse). Sometimes just an arrowroot biscuit or fruit and I drank lots and lots of water (still do). With Taxol I find there is no nausea. I still eat something every two hours and if I feel a bit off I will drink green tea or vinegar. But I do get Zofran in my pre-chemo meds so I think this lasts for a couple of days.
If you cant get relief tell your Oncologist or nurse. I understand there are lots of drugs out there to help get through the yucky bits of treatment. Dont try to tough it out on your own. Be gentle on yourself. Take care
