Hi @Fernweh - I definitely had crappy days post A/C but one thing the nurses were really emphatic about with me was to take the anti nausea pills regardless of how I was feeling for the first 3 days - that I was not to wait until I ‘felt’ the nausea. They told me that once it starts, it’s hard to pull it back. I was also on steroids for the first 3 days - they tapered off so over the 3 days I took less, by day 4 after the infusion I had stopped them and I was on the up and up again. I found when I had chemo after lunch Wednesday, I was on the couch until Friday morning - Thursday was my tough day so I really needed the meds - never physically sick, just felt blah. Even if I felt ok on the Friday, I still took the pills. Hang in there, there is no denying how shitty it can be, but take the meds and if you can, rest as much as you can in the first couple of days. I also went for a very slow walk each day just to get moving and tried to drink a lot of water to flush my system. When I say slow walk, I mean super slow. You will get to know your good days and hopefully you will have plenty of them where you can do things. I just knew the Thursday the day after was couch day and then I was ok for the next 10-12 days 🌸
