First AC chemo yesterday
I had my first chemo session yesterday. I was doing ok, had lunch and had a nap a few hours later. I wake up from the nap a little hungry and while waiting for food I started feeling a bit funny/nause...

Hi Fern, I can remember just taking the steroid tablets I was given, and I didn't suffer nausea, nor did I vomit while I was going through AC chemo. I did however after each session in the evening have bad stomach cramps, which I likened to terrible "period pains" and I took myself to bed and slept it off. AC isn't pleasant, but I found mostly if I kept my bowels moving regularly I got through it well enough.
Take it easy on yourself and if you are tired then rest when you can. Also report anything to the nurses that is worrying you. I never waited to see if I needed the tablets, but I just took them as directed before anything adverse happened.
