Nearly three months post chemo my toenails are still horrid. Fingernails seem to be getting stronger - i.e. less flaky and ridged - but they're also unconfortably "thick". They feel as if there's something under them all the time - the way you feel when you've been in the garden without gloves and have dirt under your nails.
