Fatigue & Tamoxifen

Well Ive been on Tamoxifen a little over 3 months now and initially I had nausea which settled I now have hot flushes which I can cope with.  However, what Im not coping with is the worsening fatigue, it seems to be getting worse by the day., Im in bed by 7.30 at night.  My husband thinks I should have my ovaries removed and change to a lighter drug.    I am a very positive happy person always full of energy, but these last few weeks its starting to be so debilitating.  Any information would be greatly appreciated.  Im due to see my Onc in October.

    Have you had your iron levels/bloods checked lately?Perhaps see your GP incase the tiredness is not due to Tamoxifen. Tonya xx

    Thanks Robyn, i took my pooch to a park last week and we did plenty of exerise but I spent the rest of the day on the couch so im cautious now of walking in the morning as by the time I get to work Im knackered. :(

    THank you Julie. I hear you should do exercise which I do do but within a couple of hours I need to sleep and its just from a nice walk with my pooch. Unfortunatly I work and dont have the luxery of an afternoon nap. Although Im seriously thinking of finishing up at 4pm not 5 to help.
