Eye twitches

Hi,

just a question, does anyone else get eye twitching?

For the last couple of weeks it started, just getting worse today where it's annoying cause it's both eyes.. I know I'm tired, but can't blame the dex as I only started that 2 days ago.. Is it cause I'm not having day naps or more fatigued than I like to admit?

  • Thanks Tracey.. I'm actually quite lucky, I'm onto my third round and my hair has only thinned quite a bit, I've lost it in a few places but I do have my we lashes, but my eyes still get watery.

I hope you are going well with your treatment though.. Xo

Hi Keet, I get watery eyes after the chemo. They just run, and I think that it's also to do with now having no eyelashes to protect my eyes. So I wear sunglasses and that helps a bit, particularly on sunny and windy days. Hope that this helps, Trace ????

  • Hi Scotty

thanks for replying, ooh sorry to hear you have it too, it's absolutely irritating isn't it.. i must admit I'm glad I'm not the only one, was starting to think I'll need a whole day to sleep to get rid of it.. Ooooh I haven't had the runny nose except when I started, but have wet eyes ??

yes I agree it's a small price to pay considering..

I wasn't sure about the eye twitching cause I hadn't read it in the symptoms that's all so wasn't sure if it was a side affect from chemo.. Thanks though, I feel better that I'm not going crazy tired.. ?? xo

  • Hi Keet, yes it's your chemo, I got the twitching eyes really bad you feel it but no one else can see it and a runny nose that would not stop Ah the bloody joys of chemo but a small price to pay we are still here xxxx
