Docetaxel Reaction
Hi all,
I have my second chemo infusion tomorrow (TAC). Last time I had a reaction to docetaxel, which I was told is relatively common. I was light-headed, short of breath and had the shakes. The nurses handled it well and stopped it, then I finished the infusion a bit slower after a steroid injection and antihistamine without any trouble. However, the nurses wouldn't say if it will happen again next time, or even be worse. They just said they will do things differently to try and prevent it. Has anyone had a worse reaction the second time, or gone through reaction free? I'm feeling very anxious about it.
