Dandruff

As the Letrozole and my chemo induced menopause have dried me up, and as my hair has regrown, it appears I have dandruff for the first time in my life. Cancer, the gift that keeps on giving...

I really don't fancy spending money on anti-dandruff shampoo if there's a home remedy or two I can try. Anybody have something they can recommend? Thank you! K xox

@"Annie C" Well I've got some of that in the pantry so I'll give it a try! Thank you. K xox

I keep mine at bay with an olive oil soak / massage for 10 minutes before washing using very gentle shampoos and conditioners. Weekly until the dandruff improves then as required.

Smell like a fish and chip shop for the 10 minutes before shampooing! Works for me.
  • I don't know of anything that works well other than Selsun yellow.  My scalp's okay - it's my ear canal that's gotten really dry and itchy!
