Crumbling nails

i haven't been on the forum for a few months but I have finished all my chemo and radiation and got though it all quite ok. I had a huge boob burn but that was all. I was wondering if anyone has had their finger nails turn to ruin. They were all ok whilst the treatment was going on but have crumbled and lifted since I finished radiation. Just putting it out there to see if anyone has had the same happen.

    I had lovely heathly nails before treatment. During chemo I got ridges on a few nails & yellow discolorations & as months progressed I also got small black lines along ridges. My index finger nails began to lift so I  cut nails short. It is 10mths since I  finished chemo & I still have ridges and they are brittle so keep my nails short. I have been lucky not to lose any nails. It is quite common to lose toe nails too. Dianne.
