Hi Carol, unfortunately both the Neulasta and the Taxel chemo both cause bone pain. The neulasta pain starts a few days after injection and can last for a week, but I found the ongoing pain was from the Taxel, and ended up taking heavy pain killers till chemo was finished. Couple of days after last dose I started weaning the pain killers, took about a week to come off them. No one likes taking more drugs but if it gets you through and allows you to sleep at night, take what you need. Like you, my docs were "confused" about the pain, but dr Google lists so many women who have this pain with Docetaxel/Taxotere/paclitaxel, it's gotta be the cause. Hang in there, you'll get through this, Tracey??
