Chemo Brain at the Summit
Ha girls,
I was telling my friend about the forthcoming Summit and the terrific topics offered for the break out sessions.
In mid sentence I "lost the track"and went blank.
Do you think I could think of what on earth we were discussing??
Then after several seconds, like a bolt of lightening, it came back to me and I managed to pick up from where I had left off, but only after hysterical laughter from us both!
It was hard to choose, but I did choose the Chemo Brain one for obvious reasons!!

I guess that even though it is frustrating, at least we aware of it!
I had a "moment" the other evening while getting dinner ready...don't laugh......
I had heated some apple sauce to have with roast pork and when the timer went I stood in front of the thing and do you think if I could remember how to open the door......nope....totally blank........I laughed, cried then called to hubby,"How do I open this !!!!!!!!! oven....The apple sauce was yummy.....The next morning when he came to wake me with a kiss, he stood there and said "Do you know who I am?", we laughed so much, he is a bit worried but understands. I have put a note on the micro oven door ..lol.

Yes I agree Mandy, a great session, and helpul hints to retrieve those lost bits. I actually know where my glasses are this morning..lol..The Summit was just a fantastic experience and I am so grateful to been a part of it.
