I've found exfoliation gloves in the shower or bath to be the best way of moving mine around. My arm has nearly returned to normal and the bubble around my foob does respond but reforms afterward. Really gentle strokes so the skin tingles, no scratching or rubbing at the skin like you would normally do if you were trying exfoliate.
I've got limited skin sensation in my left upper quadrant ( unless it's burning like a bastard in the middle of the night) but I can feel the glove and it seems to work better at moving the fluid than my bare hand. Some people tell me the nightly bath is a bad idea, but I've dropped the temp from my prefered heat and it's the only thing that gives me relief from the otherwise relentless aching in my legs, ankles and feet.
