bone pain

Hi all I had dcis and a double mastectomy. I'm not on any meds and didn't have chemo. This was 2 yrs ago. I've been experiencing pain in my spine for a couple of months, almost like I've been sleeping on something sticking in my back and now my right hip bone is sore. Should I get it checked out, I always feel like I'm being paranoid and don't want to bother the doctor.

  • Get it checked out. It's your health, and your peace of mind. Don't worry about bothering the doctor, it's what we pay them for.

    Take care, Lyn

  • Bother the doctor...but you won't really be bothering them. It's important. Better to err on the side of caution.

    I hope it's all ok though :)

  • You should NEVER feel like you are "bothering" a Doctor!

I would get it checked out like Kath says....

....a day of worry is more exhausting than a week of work.

    Xx

  • Dang it, I hit comment again instead of post and lost it. Ok I write it again <sighs>

I had pain like that just before I was diagnosed with bc. I ended up buying a top of the range mattress topped and its been absolutely marvellous.

It wouldn't hurt to see your doctor and ask for a blood test as something as simple as low potassium can cause pain.

  • It could be as simple as arthritis causing your pain, but it always better to get things like that checked out asap. You sre not being paranoid just sensible. The sooner you do it the quicker your peace of mind will return. Kath
