I had nerve pain from my underarm to elbow post lymph node removal, found ice very beneficial. I also saw a physio who gave me tips on lymphatic massage which has really helped. I have also found nervoderm patches relieve some of the pain. (You can buy these over the counter at your pharmacy. Keep massaging even when it hurts, you are basically trying to re-programme the nerves to let them know they don’t need to tell you they are unhappy about being moved around!
