I found heat packs worked but mainly whilst they were on. Other than that, they cut down the pain by only about 15%. But worth using anyway. Any relief is worth it. My surgeon told me the pain was not caused by the op and I should go see my GP. My GP rolled her eyes and said it was a direct result of the op.
