Anastrozole side effects 4 years later?
I have been a lucky duck with minimal side effects from chemo, radiation and Anastrozole hormone treatment. Now, four years after starting on Anastrozole, my left ankle and back of right knee are sore...

Have you been suffering depression all the time you have been on Anastrazole or is this a more recent occurrence? If the former, you need to discuss this urgently with your oncologist, as no-one should be putting up with such debilitating side effects. If the depression and anxiety is more recent, it’s still worth discussing with your oncologist but your GP can refer you to some appropriate counselling to help
determine if the medication is the problem, or some other issue, or the weight of having cancer and treatment. It can all pile up. But best to get help as soon as possible. Best wishes.
