Afinitor side effects

I've just started on Afinitor and would like to know how other people are managing side effects. What are the most common ones? How soon do they kick in? What helps?

Background: Arimidex worked for about 4 years, keeping tumours at bay. Bondronat helped strengthen bones (all tumours within spinal & pelvic bones). When it stopped working, I started on Aromasin & for bone strength, Aredia. This has not stopped the spread so now I've started Afinitor & will continue taking Aromasin & having 4-weekly Aredia infusions. Previously side-effects were insignificant but I suspect this won't be the case with Afinitor. When I had chemo for the primary cancer I was very sick with loads of nasty side-effects.
