AC Chemo

Hi, 

I had my first ac chemo last Thursday and have beeb very lucky so far with few side effects. I did notice this morning i had a slight skin rash/blisters on my stomach. Is this a normal effects of chemo?

    If it is painful and one side of body only it could be shingles.  Contact your care team and discuss it check with GP asap. Kath x

    I checked with the oncologist nurse and she it is a side effect. Told me to gey dermaid from the chemist.

    Hi Michelle I had my 1st AC on the 19th May & up to now no rash, i seem to get a lot of heartburn & indigestion with tiredness but all in all not as bad as I was expecting.

    I would definitely mention your rash as they might be able to give you something for it before your next cycle.

    Hi Michelle,

    I am due for my 4th AC chemo next Wednesday. I haven't had any rash or blisters, but that is just my personal experience so far.

    I hope your side effects continue to be kind to you.

    It may well be, but I would still get it checked out as your immune system will be compromised.

    we all have different reactions to our chemo and I didn't have any rash with mine but maybe someone else did.

    hope the rest of your treatment is kind.
