3rd Chemo

Ah how I remember FEC, or the RED DEVIL, or what I called it "Paint Stripper".  I asked for more anti nausea meds.  I kept a diary, and wrote down everything in it.  I printed out a report for the 2nd and 3rd one and took it to my Oncologist, much to his delight (smile).  If its real bad, ring the hospital where you had your chemo, or the onc straight away, dont suffer in silence.  Drink lots of water the 2 days before veins get used, I learnt from a nurse it opens the veins.  Its too late trying to drink water that day for that.  But the water needs to be continuous to flush out the toxins and help you feel better.  I was told to eat something, better than nothing.  Check my posts.  I lived on grapes and watermelon, home juices, home made soup, or when I was tired, fruit smoothies.   I also had hideous indigestion, which is rare apparently, but thanks to this website and the great advice, I got onto Nexium for that and it allowed me to eat.  Good luck, you will be different to everyone else, so hopefully you will sail through.  Tax is so much easier!
