- arpieMemberSorry no one was there to chat, @FLClover ... xx. Hopefully next time
I actually slept WELL last night, for a change! Pretty well tight thru! WIN - FLCloverMemberAnyone awake? π
- FLCloverMemberYou have your work cut out for you @arpie π
- arpieMemberHubby is similar - used to go to sleep as soon as the head touched the pillow .... but he now gets up numerous times a night to raid the kitchen (and do Word Puzzles for hours) - and as a diabetic .... is NOT supposed to do that! grrrr
- FLCloverMember@Afraser @June1952 same!! π. My last three partners also fell asleep as soon their head touched the pillow, and would start snoring away!! If they woke, theyβd be asleep again in half a second. And there I am, struggling for hours π©ππ€·πΌββοΈ
- AfraserMemberThe rapidity with which some men can go to sleep (my partner too) never fails to amaze!
- June1952MemberI read for at least 1/2 an hour before the light goes out. (Hubby's head hits the pillow and the snore starts). I lay still, one eye closed and the other open - most nights the open one joins it's mate ! On the nights I cannot get to sleep or wake after a couple of hours I stay there as it is too cold to get up to the computer π Oh, the joy of living in western Victoria !
- FLCloverMemberThank you dear @June1952 for reviving this thread πππ». I had noticed it was forgotten a few months ago as well. Itβs nice to have someone to talk to at night, for sure! π

I usually try to pretend Iβm asleep too π. It does work a lot! - arpieMemberMany thanks, @Mez_BCNA - when you've got a spare week, you should check out the original post!! It had some really funny & good stuff in it ..... it was back in my early days on the blog!
@Afraser - My GP gives me Temase too (tho one wasn't licensed to prescribe it, so I swapped - I didn't know they could 'choose' which drugs they can prescribe - tho I guess he may also have had an issue with them at one stage!) - one bottle will last me 2-3 months I reckon - and the BOTTLED ones, dissolve on your tongue (sometimes with a gentle chew - usually on it's own) so they are absorbed into your system quicker than the BOXED ones which stay whole! ;) The Pharmacist didn't believe me - but they probably don't need to take them, so never tried t@Afraser
@Julez1958 - I do all those except for No 5 .... and usually read something for at least 10-15mins before turning off the light .... and still lay there, wondering, sometime! grrr
hehe @FLClover - I am pretty sure I 'read it' as 'drop'!! ;) I try to just roll over & pretend that I am asleep & often, it works & I drop off!
Just by anyone replying to the topic will keep it 'up the top' .... and also our friends in WA (who are a good few hours behind the east coast) may still be up to chat, as well! ;)
