Xmas will be at my place as usual. I love xmas with all it's sparkles and always have a great time.
It's the one day I actually put any effort into cooking (blah). Sometimes, I even make sweets which surprises my family no end.
I am assuming it will be better than last year. It was 42 degrees here last Christmas day and trying to cook in that set off an avalanche of atomic hot flushes. My husband was running around behind me with a spray bottle of water. Unfortunately he had put it on stream instead of spray and just ended up shooting me in the back of the head with it! LOL
It all turned out ok with us piling all the food on the back of the farm ute and parking under one of our big shady trees and me spending the rest of the afternoon trying to cool down in the pool with a glass or six of wine.
Me thinks maybe cold buffet this time around.
